Today has kicked start with Penang's Starwalk 2013, not that I got any prizes in the end but as the slogan suggested, it was "A Walk To Remember".
I initially reckoned it'd ring a bell or two among the participants about the movie - A Walk To Remember.
It was a really cry-able movie, or maybe it's just me? I tend to breakdown at a lot of movies, even those with fighting scenes throughout the whole movie. No, not Power Rangers.
Yesterday was great. :)
Yourstruly got the chance to hangout with a special person, very special indeed. So the date started with le special person arriving at Yourstruly's house, stating that he is "in front of your bangalo liao" HAHAHHA i laughed my ass off - and grabbed it back and glued it back of course!
Then we set off to town, wanting to go to Moustache Houze initially, as according to my preference. Chulia Street was like mad, people everywhere, cars lagi everywhere, mata also everywhere. After much struggling, for around 15 minutes?, we finally squeezed le car WITHIN the yellow line near the market. Close. Then we had to walk to le Houze, only disappointed to find that it was SO damn crowded. We took a look in le Houze, from ground floor to 1st floor, and decided that we will re-visit with a bigger bunch of buddies.

Bumped into one of his friends and yea Yourstruly received that she-is-your-girlfriend-I'm-very-sure-of-that kinda look. Chatted for a while and left Moustache Houze. Grrrr I keep spelling Moustahce Moustache wrong.
And then.. the duo headed back to the car, and wanted to go to somewhere else because it was too crowded and because le Specialperson was hungry, surely coffee and cake won't be able to satisfy him. So we went to Mugshot Cafe`!
I like their concept: you come in, smell le bagel and coffee, look through the wall menu, order your food, pay for your order, find a place to snuggle in, and wait for your food to arrive. We ordered 2 yogurts - Jackfruit & Gula Melaka ; Walnuts & Raisins (cause there were only these two choices left) and a Bacon & Egg Bagel for the starved Specialperson. Bacon & Egg are combined as in the picture below, which is kinda creative! Yogurts were good, though I wanted to try Kiwi & Honey. Bagel was fragrant, crispy on the side and soft on the inside. Yourstruly got handfed with bites of bagel. Haha. ^^
Then le duo chilled at the back portion of the cafe`, totally different temperature from the front! There was a corner in front of the A/C with two comfy red chairs, and we chatted for quite a while. We went into a random temple for a visit, sight-seeing to be more accurate. Then off we went, back to the RM 2/entry carpark.
And yes, as usual, Specialperson tried so many times - and of course succeeded - to scare Yourstruly by performing stunts while driving. Turning right TOO immediately that we almost crashed into the pavement (of course this is only one of his stunts), screaming "I don't wanna die!!!!" when we passed by UMNO building... Specialperson always makes my day.
And when we reached, Specialperson presented Yourstruly with gifts! Haha, so sweet of Specialperson. Gifts: Teowchew Mooncake and special paperclip-photo album! :D Yourstruly is a happy girl.
Shoutout: I know that we don't see each other frequently and that we can only be virtually connected, but you will always remain a very Specialperson to me! I miss you, already. :)
